Amazon: investe 575 min di dollari in Deliveroo


Il colosso dell’e-commerce Amazon investe 575 milioni di dollari in Deliveroo. La società di Jeff Bezos partecipa così al finanziamento di uno dei maggiori competitors nel mercato dei servizi di consegna del cibo a domicilio accanto ai partner storici di Deliveroo che ha raccolto fino ad ora 1,53 miliardi di dollari di finanziamenti. In generale stiamo assistendo ad una riorganizzazione del settore che ha visto numerose acquisizioni in questi ultimi mesi, se in Germania Delivery Hero è passato sotto takeaway.com in Italia le attività di Foodora sono state rilevate da Glovo. Deliveroo, che si gioca il primato nel settore con Just Eat e Uber, ha dichiarato che aprirà 4 nuovi punti in Italia nelle città di Bologna, Bergamo, Verona e Torino arrivando così a un totale di 75 sedi dislocate nel nostro paese.
