Incidenti stradali, 82.048 nel 2019 in calo del -1,3%


Meno incidenti stradali con lesioni a persone (82.048, pari a -1,3%) e numero di feriti (113.765, -2,9%) nel primo semestre 2019, mentre il totale delle vittime è in aumento rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2018 (1.505, + 1,3%).

Rispetto agli anni dal 2001 al 2010 per la sicurezza stradale, nei primi sei mesi dell’anno il numero di morti scende del 23,6% rispetto al primo semestre 2010 e del 54,2% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2001. L’aumento della mortalità del primo semestre 2019 allontana dall’obiettivo europeo di riduzione del 50% delle vittime entro il 2020.

L’aumento delle vittime è dovuto all’incremento registrato sulle autostrade (oltre il 25%) e sulle strade extraurbane (+0,3%). Per le strade urbane si stima, invece, una diminuzione di circa il 3%.
